AI TRPG · BunCho Play

A text RPG with an AI game master

BunCho Play is a text adventure where an AI runs the game as your game master (GM). Pick a world or create one from a single sentence, write what you want to do, and the GM narrates what happens next. Events and relationships are recorded, so you can continue later.

How one turn plays

Every screen here is the real BunCho Play, played in the isekai world without logging in.

  1. World picker: a one-line prompt box and cards for ready-made worlds Step 1

Pick a world, or write one sentence

Choose a ready-made world, or describe the world you want in one line under “What kind of world do you want to play in?”

  2. Opening scene with the princess, the GM's narration and options A, B and C Step 2

    The first scene opens

The game master (GM) sets the scene and characters speak to you. Three suggested actions appear as A, B and C.

  3. Typing a custom action into the input box Step 3

    Act in your own words

Tap a suggestion, or type whatever you want to do. Actions that aren't on the list work too.

  4. After an action: the GM's narration of the result and new suggestions Step 4

The GM tells you what happens

The GM narrates the result, characters react and what you've learned is updated. The next suggestions change with it.

What you can do in BunCho Play

Tap a choice or type freely

Advance with the A, B and C suggestions, or write any action you come up with.

Create a world from one sentence

From a line like “I miss the last train, and a train from a line I've never heard of pulls in,” the setting, hero, characters and goal are generated.

A log that sticks

Facts you've learned, promises, items and each character's trust are recorded and used in later narration.

It remembers what happened

Your adventure log sits beside the story and feeds the next turn's narration. Below: the screen after two turns.

  • What you know: each fact is kept with where you learned it
  • People: trust and closeness change with what you do
  • Promises, items and techniques: decisions and things you picked up stay on record
  • Autosave: stop any time and pick up where you left off
