Choose what to allow, per work
For each published work, choose Off, Structure/characters/setting, or Including dialogue. Change or stop it at any time. For novels, the text itself is never handed over - only chapter and scene summaries.
How fans can remix
Allowed works show "Remix this work". Fans choose Change the protagonist, Change only the heroine, Change the ending, Change the genre or Make a sequel, and start their own work.
A link back to the original (lineage)
Every remix keeps a link to the original, and your work's page lists "Works born from this one" - so readers of fan works find their way back to you.
Some works are excluded
Remix permission cannot be turned on for limited-visibility works and some other visibility settings.

Can people use my work without permission?
Only published works you have allowed can be remixed. You can turn permission off at any time, after which no new remixes can be started.
Who owns what fans make?
Fan works are published as the fan's own work, with a link to yours. Your rights in your work stay with you. Fine-grained licenses and revenue handling are coming soon and will be announced here and in our terms.
Can I apply if my work isn't on AI BunCho yet?
Yes. Creators who publish elsewhere are welcome.
