Free AI title and synopsis generators

Two of BunCho's most-used tools, explained. Both are free and run in your browser.

Please note: These free tools currently generate Japanese text, and their screens are in Japanese. The buttons below open the Japanese pages. Localized versions are planned.

AI title generator

Enter a genre and a few keywords, and the AI proposes title ideas for a novel, manga or video. It's tuned on Japanese web fiction, so it is especially good at the long, descriptive titles common in light novels and isekai.

How to use it

  1. Choose a genre.
  2. Type a few keywords in Japanese (for example 婚約破棄 for "broken engagement" or 辺境 for "frontier").
  3. Generate, then keep the titles you like and run again for more.

Tips

  • Mix one rising trope from our weekly trend report with one unexpected word.
  • Translators and learners can use it to see how Japanese titles are typically built.
  • Generate several rounds and combine halves of different titles.

AI synopsis generator

Give it keywords or a title and the AI drafts a synopsis — the short pitch readers see before they click. You can then keep writing the story together with the AI in the relay novel tool.

How to use it

  1. Enter keywords or your working title in Japanese.
  2. Generate a synopsis.
  3. Edit it by hand, or continue the story in the AI relay novel.

Tips

  • Use the synopsis as a test: if it sounds generic, your premise may need a sharper hook.
  • Try the same keywords with a different genre to explore tones.

Questions

Are the tools really free?
Yes. The title and synopsis generators are free. The long-form AI Writing Studio is part of the paid plans.
Can they write in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese?
Not yet — today they write in Japanese. You can paste the result into a translator, or use them to study Japanese title conventions.
Who owns the generated titles?
You are free to use what you generate in your own work. Please check the Terms of Use (in Japanese) for details.
