For novelists & web fiction writers

Turn your story into a comic and a book trailer

Posting chapters on Royal Road or Wattpad isn't enough to get that first click. With BunCho you can turn your best scene into a comic for social media, build a storyboard from a chapter and make a 30-second book trailer, and keep writing with an AI that never edits your manuscript behind your back.

Writers: common problems and how BunCho solves them

Readers won't open chapter one

Post a comic of your best scene or a 30-second trailer, so people feel the story before they read a word. The promo kit makes the share images and post copy too.

Long series drift: voices and lore get inconsistent

Character sheets, world notes and writing rules for each work go into every AI request. For changes across many chapters, the agent proposes a plan and you accept it section by section.

Waiting for someone to adapt your book

Make your own comic or webtoon version and see how readers react first. The same character sheet carries their look into comics and video.

What writers make from their stories

From manuscript to comic and trailer

  1. Import your manuscript

Bring in TXT, Markdown, DOCX, EPUB or a Scrivener ZIP and check the chapter preview before importing. Your posted work stays where it is.

  2. Turn a scene into a comic

Open a chapter and make a four-panel comic or manga pages. Lock a character sheet and every panel draws the same face, hair and outfit.

One story, every format

The look you set on a character sheet carries into comic panels and video cuts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I turn my story into a comic if I can't draw?
Yes. Pick a chapter or scene and the studio handles the panel plan, the art and the speech balloons. Redraw only the panels you don't like.
Is there an AI to turn a novel into manga for free?
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial with trial credits, so you can make your first comic without paying. After that, comics are part of the paid plans.
Can I post the comic or trailer on Royal Road, Wattpad or social media?
What you make from your own story is yours to use for promoting it. Each site has its own rules on AI-assisted work, and they change, so check the latest guidelines before posting.
How many credits does a book trailer use?
It depends on length and the quality you choose per cut. Widescreen video on our own GPUs uses 0 credits on Feast, Full Course and Team up to the fair-use limit (120 seconds a day). You always see an estimate first.
Can I write the novel itself here too?
Yes. Write in chapters and sections, brainstorm with the AI, rewrite a selection with ⌘K / Ctrl+K, and use the agent for changes across chapters.
