BunCho

For comic artists & webcomic creators

Turn one line of text into a comic strip

You have the jokes, but drawing every panel stops you posting. BunCho turns one line into three four-panel story options, then takes the one you pick through layout, art and speech balloons. Mix in your own hand-drawn pages, or redraw only the panels you don't like.

Comic artists: common problems and how BunCho solves them

Drawing takes too long to post every day

One line → three story options → finished art. Or stop at the layout, check the pacing, then draw.

AI characters look different in every panel

Make a character sheet and lock it: every panel uses the same face, hair and outfit. Expression sheets come in one batch.

Sizes and file formats for each platform

Export a single image for Instagram or X, split images for WEBTOON CANVAS, or 600 dpi TIFF, PDF with trim marks and layered PSD for print.

How a comic strip gets made

  1. Write the idea in one line

Choose "4-panel" and type the idea. Three versions of the story beats appear; pick the punchline you like.

The comic screen with one line of input and three story options
  2. Lock your characters

Make a character sheet and lock it so every panel draws the same person.

An expression sheet for one character
  3. Finish and export

Dialogue goes into speech balloons. Export PNG, PDF, TIFF, PSD or webtoon slices.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make comics from text with AI?
Yes. Type one line, choose one of three story options, and the studio produces the panel layout, art and speech balloons.
Can I keep my character consistent across comics?
Yes. Lock a character sheet and every new panel uses the same face, hair and outfit.
Can I export for Instagram or WEBTOON CANVAS?
Strips come in vertical, 2×2 or horizontal layouts as a single image for social media. Webtoons export as WEBTOON CANVAS slices (800 px wide, up to 1280 px tall).
How many credits does a strip use?
It depends on the number of panels and the art quality; you see an estimate before it runs. Strips made on our own GPUs use 0 credits on Feast, Full Course and Team (fair-use limits apply).
