How to export from your current tool
- Scrivener: compress the .scriv folder into a ZIP. The Draft folder becomes chapters and scenes; Characters / Places folders become characters and world notes.
- Word / Google Docs: .docx (Google Docs: File → Download → Microsoft Word, or Web page). Heading 1/2 become chapters and scenes.
- Novelcrafter: Export → Novel (Word or Markdown), plus the Codex ZIP from the cog menu.
- Sudowrite: .docx or the project .zip, plus the Story Bible Outline / Characters / Worldbuilding CSV files.
- NovelAI: the story as plain text (.txt) and your Lorebook (.json / .lorebook).
- Obsidian / Markdown: choose the vault folder, or a ZIP of it.
- Final Draft / Fountain: .fdx or .fountain. Scenes become sections, speakers become characters.
