Article 4

The Service handles personal information appropriately in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" and makes every effort to protect users' privacy.

"AI BunCho" and "OTHERLIFE" (otherlife.games) are both operated by Industrial Dream Inc. Users may sign in to one with the other's account, or connect both accounts. In that case, the only information exchanged between the two services is the account ID, email address, display name, and identifiers of linked LINE / Google sign-ins (see Section 6 of the Privacy Policy for details). Fees, contracts, and payments are separate for each service, and a contract on one is not carried over to the other. The connection can be removed at any time from account settings.

The Service stores content that users send and receive on its servers to the extent necessary to provide the Service. Because token data sent is processed unencrypted within the cloud servers where the AI runs, 100% confidentiality is not guaranteed. The Service owes no duty of confidentiality in this regard.

The Service encrypts content that users save in transit (TLS) and stores it using the at-rest encryption provided by the cloud provider where it is stored. The operator does not view the contents of stored content except when responding to a user's request, investigating failures, preventing abuse, analyzing to improve the quality of the Service (next paragraph), or as required by law.

To improve the quality of the Service, the Service stores and analyzes records of the instructions and questions users send to AI, the drafts entered when creating works, the formats selected, and the results of instructions (estimate, run, failure, cancellation). These records do not include the contents of attachments. These records are not used to train or fine-tune AI, and are not provided to third parties (except as described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy). Users may request deletion of these records by contacting us.

To improve the quality of the Service, the Service records the results of automatic checks on generated images, videos, and voices (reasons for rejection and the number of redraws), analyzes failure patterns, and automatically revises generation rules. Part of this analysis is performed by passing data to AI that we use, with character names and work text masked. Revised rules are written in generalized form and do not contain text or names from users' works. These records are not used to train or fine-tune AI.

To improve BunCho Play (AI TRPG), the Service stores and analyzes the action and dialogue text users enter, the choices they select, the story text displayed, and play records (intervals between turns, the point at which play stopped, entry point, device type, etc.). These records are not used to train or fine-tune external AI and are not provided to third parties (except as described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy). These records are also deleted upon withdrawal.

Article 4-2 (Generation and AI credits)

The following generation on the Service consumes AI credits on every plan (including the Feast plan, Full Course plan, and Team plan (including businesses)), in the same way as other generation. The AI credits to be consumed are shown in the estimate before running.

  • Images (including 4-panel comics, manga panels, and character sheets)
  • Song and music generation and remixes
  • Voice (BunCho voices)
  • Video
  • Upscaling and cutouts

When the Service is busy, generation may start later. The Service may restrict mass generation intended for resale of output, automated mass generation by programs or similar means, and any other use that the Service determines interferes with fair use of the Service.

BunCho Play (AI TRPG) can be played for the first 40 turns and then 10 turns per day on the Free plan, 30 turns per day on Perch, and up to 600 turns per day on Watering, Seed, Feast, Full Course, and Team. This is a fair-use cap: if you exceed 600 turns in a day, you will need to wait until the next day (midnight Japan time). During the free trial, any plan can be played for up to 100 turns per day. Normal play does not use AI credits. Features that use AI credits use the same AI credits as other features of the Service.

Article 4-3 (Estimates and postpay for AI instructions)

When generating or editing with "AI instructions" in the editor, the Service shows an estimate of the AI credits to be used before running, and runs only when the user agrees. Evaluating the content of an instruction does not consume AI credits.

When a user turns on "Postpay" in settings, generation and edits whose single estimate is at or below the user-defined limit (default 50 credits) are run without individual confirmation, and the AI credits actually consumed are shown on the result screen and in the history. When an estimate exceeds the limit, the estimate is shown for confirmation before running. Users may change the postpay setting and the limit at any time in settings. The Service will not turn on postpay or raise the limit without the user's consent.

Article 4-4 (Withdrawal)

Users may withdraw at any time through the Delete account and data procedure. The procedure requires signing in and identity verification (a confirmation code sent to the registered email address, or a password). If you cannot complete the procedure on screen, please contact the address in Article 5. After confirming your identity, the operator will process your withdrawal by the same procedure.

Any paid contract active at the time of withdrawal is cancelled immediately, and no further charges are made. No prorated refunds are given (as stated under "Returns, exchanges, and cancellations" in the Legal notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act). Any remaining AI credits expire and are not refunded.

Upon withdrawal, your account and content such as works, drafts, files, and published works are deleted. Deleted content cannot be restored. Comments and reviews written on other users' works remain, and the poster's name becomes "Withdrawn user". The timing of deletion (after 7 days or immediately), the information deleted, and the information retained for legal and accounting purposes and the retention periods are as described in Section 10 of the Privacy Policy.

If you have unpaid royalties or monthly support from other users, the withdrawal procedure is put on hold until we confirm how to handle them, and the operator will contact you.

The amount of play, prices, and plan contents are unchanged.
  • Revised October 30, 2026 (effective from its publication on the Service): added to Article 4-2 how much BunCho Play (AI TRPG) can be played during the free trial (100 turns per day). Plan prices and contents are unchanged.

  • Revised October 18, 2026 (effective October 25, 2026): added to Article 4 that records of instructions and questions sent to AI and drafts of works are used in analysis to improve the quality of the Service (not used for AI training; deletion can be requested). The text on content storage was also updated to match actual practice.
  • Revised October 17, 2026: renamed Article 4-2 to "Flat rate for some generation (with caps)" (the previous name could be read as having no caps). The existence of caps was also added to the first paragraph of Article 4-2. Eligible plans, eligible generation, cap values (Per person: per day 300 images, 120 s of video, 30 songs, 30,000 voice characters, 300 upscales/cut-outs; per month 3,000 images, 1,200 s of video, 300 songs, 300,000 voice characters, 3,000 upscales/cut-outs), and processing order are unchanged.
