In the novel editor, press "Make from this story" and nine formats appear. Pick one, check the credits it will use, agree once, and BunCho keeps going to the end, even if you close the page. You get a notification and an email when it is ready.

What it does

  • Nine formats, one tap

    Video (art, voices and motion, with consistent faces), page manga, webtoon, 4-panel comic with a punchline, explainer video, audio drama read by a cast, voice comic (your manga with voices), song (lyrics written from your story, sung) and storyboard (panels and dialogue before drawing).

  • Choose length, orientation and art quality

    Under "Advanced settings" you can set the video length, orientation (landscape 16:9 and more) and manga art quality, or leave the defaults.

  • Several at once, even with the page closed

    Each format you start appears under "In progress / done" with its current step (writing the song, recording voices, art 2/10 panels). You can stop any of them; finished ones open with one click.

How it works

  1. Write your story — Write in the novel editor, or paste or import a manuscript. Short stories work too.
  2. Press "Make from this story" — The format cards appear above the editor.
  3. Pick a format and agree — You see the credits it will use. Agree once and it runs to the end.
  4. Open and edit — You get a notification and an email. Manga opens in the manga editor, video in the video editor.

Credit estimates (shown on the cards)

  • 4-panel comic: about 50–150 credits
  • Storyboard: about 100–150 credits
  • Page manga / webtoon: about 200–600 credits
  • Video: from about 550 credits at the shortest length
  • Explainer video, audio drama, voice comic, song: the amount is shown when you press
  • Estimates are for a short chapter. The real amount is shown before you agree, and you agree once to that amount.

FAQ

Where do I find it?
Open a work in the studio and press "Make from this story" above the novel editor.
Can I close the page?
Yes. After you agree it keeps running and notifies you by notification and email.
What if something fails?
You see "Could not make it" with the reason. Credits for the part that failed are not charged.
Do voice formats speak my language?
Explainer video, audio drama and voice comic currently use Japanese voices.
