ChatGPT connector (developer mode)

ChatGPT x BunChoMake manga and video from a ChatGPT chat.

Use BunCho's manga and video tools straight from a ChatGPT conversation. Finished manga shows up as a page preview right in the chat. It uses the credits on your BunCho account.

Connector URL
https://bun-cho.work/mcp

Works on ChatGPT plans with developer mode (adding your own connectors), such as Plus, Pro and Business. Availability depends on your plan and may change on ChatGPT's side.

How to connect

  1. Turn on developer mode

In ChatGPT, open Settings -> Apps & Connectors -> Advanced and turn on "Developer mode".

  2. Create the connector

Click "Create" / "Add connector". Name it "BunCho", set the MCP server URL to https://bun-cho.work/mcp, choose OAuth for Authentication, and click "Create".

  3. Sign in to BunCho and allow

The BunCho sign-in page opens. Sign in with Google, LINE or email, then click "Allow" on the consent screen.

  4. Pick BunCho in a chat

In a new chat, choose BunCho from the "+" menu (or the developer mode tools). Then just talk.

Pricing and credits

Everything is paid with the credits on your BunCho account. Claude and ChatGPT don't charge anything extra for BunCho (your assistant's own plan is separate).

Always a quote first

Before making manga or video, it tells you in the chat how many credits it will cost. Nothing is spent until you say yes.

Free credits on your first connection

Free credits for about 3 manga pages (first connection only, no card, once per account, for people who haven't had a trial).

When you run out

Subscribe or add credits from BunCho Studio. The chat will point you there too.

FAQ

Which ChatGPT plans does it work on?

Plans with developer mode for adding your own connectors, such as Plus, Pro and Business. ChatGPT may change where it's offered, so check that "Developer mode" appears in your settings. On Business and similar plans, an admin may need to allow it.

Whose credits are used?

Your BunCho account's credits. They're separate from what you pay for ChatGPT, and ChatGPT won't bill you anything extra for BunCho. You always get a quote first, and credits are spent only after you agree.

Can I try it for free?

Your first connection comes with free credits for about 3 manga pages (first connection only, no card, once per account, for people who haven't had a trial).

Can I see the manga in the chat?

Yes. In ChatGPT, a preview of the finished manga pages appears right in the conversation. You can also open it from the works list in BunCho Studio.

"Developer mode" sounds risky. Is it?

Developer mode is just ChatGPT's name for the setting that lets you add your own connectors. BunCho can only do what you allowed on the consent screen (read, create, publish your works).

Can it publish without asking?

No. It always asks you to confirm in the chat before publishing. You can also decline the publish permission (works:publish) or disconnect later.

How do I disconnect?

In BunCho Studio settings -> "Connected apps". You can also remove it under Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT's settings.

Manga and video, straight from the chat.
